Is there anyone who knows of any good patches of classic analog synths?I have not heard many good emulations of oberheims, moogs, jupiters etc. There should be cause this is one of the best synths ever built. Im working on creating those classic sounds but it is a timeconsuming job.I will post them here as sonn as i have them. Would be cool if anyone felt the same way and wanted to join me in this crusade. Funkfingers

Groups, in the Files section, you'll find a number of free AN1x Voices: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AN1x-list/files/ There's a good selection of Moog type sounds in this Yamaha supplied bank: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AN1x-list/files/AN1x%20Voices/ Yamaha%20U.K.%20Voices/starter.zip Elson made this sound bank waaaaaay back when - it has some good Oberheim type sounds: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AN1x-list/files/AN1x%20Voices/ Teklab%20Mailing%20List%20%27Archive%27/elson1.zip Another user made a good bank of Roland type sounds. They lean more towards the Alpha Juno 1 + 2 then Juno 106 or Jupiter 8 but they're a good kick off point, IMO. I've always enjoyed tweaking this sounds bank: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AN1x-list/files/AN1x%20Voices/ Teklab%20Mailing%20List%20%27Archive%27/rola_an1.zip There are litteraly hundreds of sounds, and more goodies, in the Files section. Please feel free to create your own directory and contribute your own AN1x voices. Please use .an1 format and compress your file(s). regards, Jon
