Exporting/printing text from An1xEdit

Exporting/printing text from An1xEdit

2001-09-08 by Jerry Aiyathurai

I've come up with a cool bank of sounds in An1xEdit. I hope to use
the bank when playing live, but don't recall which sounds are where
exactly (I kind of improvise). I wonder if there is some way of
printing out a list of patch names from AN1xEdit to take with me (a
cheat sheet).

I ve tried the export commands (midi and sysex) and they resulted in
a lot of characters that I am having difficult parsing in a text file.

Any suggestions (I could re-type them I suppose).

Thanks in advance,

Jerry

I seem to remember that someone came up with a little proggy that could
take an An1xEdit bank and export it to a Cakewalk voicemap (.ins) file.
These files are basically simple text documents with voicenames and
bank/program values.

You could probably quickly edit the INS file to suit your purposes.

Unfortunately I don't know who wrote the proggy...but they may have
uploaded it to this list web site...have a search for it.

Regards

Gary Gregson

There's a Cakewalk folder in the Files section - I'm 99% certain the
prog of which Gary speaks has been uploaded:
