Is this right? (AN200)

Is this right? (AN200)

2001-10-26 by carlk@hartsystems.com

I was skimming the instructions for the AN200 and I don't see any
information for saving "voices".

Did I miss it? Is it part of the software only?

Is it possible that saving sound patches cannot be done????

Please help me out here.

Carl

P.S. I'm sorry for those of you that get this in email and see it
twice. I posted with the wrong ID and wanted to correct it.

I'm still looking for answers on getting a static author profile, if
anyone knows how to do that.

Thanks,
Carl

Carl,
I've poked around some of the Yahoo! Help topics http://help.yahoo.com/
help/groups/ but have not arrived at a solution to your question. I *
suspect* the answer is to create a Yahoo! ID that is not based on your
email id, for example, 'CarlK' rather than 'carlk@h...'. Make sense?
I've not made time to try this idea out myself. At this point you may
want to email Yahoo! Customer Support 2st hand and hear what
explanation they provide.

HTH,

Jon

The question regarding the AN200 still remains. Is there no way to
save sounds once you create them?

Hopefuly, someone can answer this for me.

Thanks,
Carl

Carl,

I am new one too but there is an idea - you have the button called store
under the display. You can store your sound there until you want to load a
preset from for example an1x library via PC editor. Then first it is
important to store your original presets using thet BULK command. I must
tell you I tried once but lost everything. Since that time (month ago) I
(sad sad to say) hadn't much time to play my new toys (I bought esi4000 also
as a great "return to childhood" plan) so I am going to try tomorrow and of
course I share whether good or worse new with you.
Peace
Piotr

Carl,
According to the manual, you are also saving the vioce when you save a pattern.

See Pages 79 and 80 (it's those page #'s in the download English version of the manual) under Storing Patterns. In the side notes, they use both the terms pattern and voices.

hope this helps,
bruce

I've seen the light! Here's how it's done:

-Click on Account Info all the way in the top right.
-In the Yahoo ID card you will see Public Information to the right.
Ckick on edit/create profile.
-In the yello box that say yahoo ID click on your ID.
-Then click on edit profile information.
-On the line that says real name enter your name or whatever you want
it to say.
-Go down and click on the radio button for "No! Do not display my
email address on this profile".
-Go down and click svae changes.
This should do it.
