The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

I would just like to thank everbody participating in the Apple / 
Emagic thread for keeping their cool and engaging in a 
thoughtful conversation - I know opinions are running hot & cold 
on this topic. I really respect you can have this conversation and 
keep it polite.

I know a few list members are ex-Opcode users like myself - and 
the situation with LAW bears some similarity to tthe Gibcode 
debacle from a few years ago. You might be interested in some 
of the discussion taking place on the Opcode users list at Topica

that some of the Opcode discussion is very funny and some of it, 
well - for lack of a better word, is very un-funny.

FWIW, yesterday afternoon I stopped at one of the large, local 
Mac computer departments here in Northern VA to ask the sales 
people if they'd heard the news. Their response: "Emagic who?" 
ha ha ha LOL If that doesn't help put this into perspective for both 
camps I don't know what will :-)
