  Hello there,
I am no Synth Genius but I can find my way arround. Does anyone know
how to make the most common sound that you here in almost every
Trance Track... like Airplay - The music is moving, Alice DeeJay -
Back in My life, LASGO - Alone ...etc I gues you know the sound.

it's kinda Sawtooth detuned 2 layers that I can't even get close to.

  Thanx amillion
  Danny

That or else any of the Alpha Junos, i think that's what that sound is. Typical Euro Trance sound. I'm supprised the AN doesn't already have a patch for it!

Roland Junos (106, 60, 6, alpha1, alpha2, mks-50) have only one oscilator, so you cannot get the detuned sound. I suggest a nord, virius, or sid station. Have not tied it with the AN1X yet. It seems hard to program to me (compared to the three i mentioned).

You can get a sound that is very close to detuning by using a single oscillator with a lot of PWM at a relatively fast rate. Adding some chorus will increase the effect. I used to do this on the Roland Juno-6 I owned in the early 80's.

But you should be able to mix the waveforms on them to create a fatter
sound. That sound is really close to "what the?" sound in the Juno-1 that
all the old rave records used. So it should be able to be done.

Hello all,
Based on a patch "Lead009" from "matthias soundz" set I was able to
clone LASGO's Alone sunth Lead.
Thanx a million guys.

I will try to put it in the download area hope it will work.

P.S I've editted the patch at home on the KB but the file I am
providing is edited at the office with the AN1Editor so haven't heard
it. Try it and tell me
