need help

need help

2002-11-05 by DJGaryB

I'm fairly new to midi and I am having a hell of a time trying to
figure this out.

How do I get my mpc 2000 to change the sounds in the AN1X as it goes
from 1 sequence to the next.

I have tried to get this to work but so far I have had no luck in
figuring this out.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hey DJ... (sounds like paul Oak)
I'm not familiar with the MPC but it should be a hell of a Midi
controler (better than SP808) with all CC# possibilities.
Try to see in your MPC how to send a "Programe Change" message it
should be somewher in the Sequencing mode or step sequencing... and
insert the message in the very first measure of the sequence... or
where ever you want it to be placed .
Usually the message is somthing like "Program change: 001 or xxx".

Note that:
in AN1x you have to control change modes 1 and 2 one is for normal
activity and 2 is for N1X specific changes. check page 96 of the
manual... and use the seperate data list for the CC# information.
if you don't have the docs you can download them from the groups
files section.

Check it out

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
