Much to my amazement AN1x-list (now three years old!) continues to draw a steady flow of new subscriptions :-) This begs the questions: who are you (PLG150 vs. AN200 vs. AN1x users?) and what are you looking to get from your experience on AN1x-list (tech support, user voices, news/gossip?) regards, Jon

I purchased the DX200 and the AN200... I use them as sound modules in my studio to cover what my sample playback keyboard doesn't have (true synthesis). I subscribe for the general reasons... product gossip, patches. hints and helps... Alan

I just recently picked up a new AN200 for $174, and i love using it together with Korg ER-1. I joined the group to find out more about the AN200, get patches,and to share tips and other info with other users. Pylsur BTW, I've always loved the AN1X ,and thought it was a killer synth.

Hi bourght the AN200 and DX200 today, im sending them both back, because the sound out put quality is not as good as my AN150plg on my sw1000xg.And I can not use the AN/DX200 editors because it will not work in WinXP plus you have to use it with XGworks, and I need a stand alone AN/DX200 editor to work with cubse5.1 in Win XP. I can not comment on the sound quality of either the AN150 or the AN200, but I hear no problem when mixing my DX200 with my AN1. Their sounds mix well and complement each other. Also, I use both the AN1 and the DX200 editors with Cubase, but have never heard of XGworks. Saw the fantastic Haojobb from europe last night play in Toronto, great gig - guess what fantastical Blue baby they had up on stage with them that they were playing way more than the Nord lead 2 - AN1x you guessed it. Now on the really far off chance that on of the guys from Haujobb is actually reading this, can you PLEASE upload your Banks? I've got a bunch of info from this list. Before I bought it off Ebay, I read what you all had to say, asked a couple of questions, got some good answers and have been a proud owner for a couple of months. I've downloaded some kickass patches and am still learning a lot about programming the blue beast. Anyways it's now replaced my Alpha Juno 2 as my main synth, next to my CX-3 of course, and am using it in just about every song we do. Normally I just lurk around but I just had to say thumbs up to all of you who contribute and those who make this list possible. Rock on!

Well, some synth are simply timeless ;) And some are simply still sold. I got an AN1X that has very positively surprised me with it's sound (and a great keyboard too), and now I'm getting an AN200 as sketch pad & an editor for the AN1X - I'll combine it's knobs with the AN1X to make it easier.
