The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

Hello everyone. I rarely post here, but enjoy reading what you get 
up, and the sound, sensible advice generously given out. Props to 
both moderators and contributors.

Anyway, here's a thing: I recently formatted my hard drive to clean 
it up, and as a result of course have had to reinstall all my 
programmes and set them up afresh and all that.

I installed AN1xEdit just now, and got it up and running, along with 
Logic (the version that came with my Isis card ages ago). The problem 
is that AN1xEdit won't let me assign the right midi port, because 
it's already assigned in Logic. If I disable that port in Logic, I 
can assign it in AN1xEdit, but then when I go back to Logic, the 
option for that port has disappeared! Basically, I can't have both 
open and working with the AN1x at the same time. Very odd.

I didn't have this problem before, so I'm at a bit of a loss.

(Running Windows98SE, by the way.)

Any ideas what's happening and what can be done?
