I just looked at mine (which is the designated power supply, with the 
Yamaha brand name on it) and it is:

12v. DC, 700 mA, (+) positive voltage on inside pin, (-) negative on outside shell.

Mine is for european power, though that is only the input and shouldn't make a 
difference as to what needs to be supplied to the unit. So your 1000Ma can
definitely handle the current. 

I know with universal power supplies you often can change the shells out, and
polarities, but it occurs to me, somone ought to make an adapter for the one
most used connector type that simply changes polarity...since most common I
think is neg. on the inside pin, but lots more folks lately do the opposite.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
