The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

Does anyone have a PC with only SCSI devices? (SCSI cdrom & SCSI 
harddisk) 
Are there any "generic" SCSI devicedrivers that i could put on a 
diskette so that i could 
load/install an operating system like windows95 to the harddrive ? 

I've tried all possible combinations with ID's and stuff, but i CAN'T 
seem to be able to 
install the operating system (that is on a cd) from the SCSI cdrom 
drive. 
I have tried the windows98 startup diskette, but it doesn't want to 
initiate the cdrom drive 
to be able to read anything. 

I've been at it for about 2-3 weeks now, and still am not able to do 
it. 

Help please ...
