Hey Y'all - I would be very cafeful about sending any kind of reply to these spam addresses. Once you do, they add your personal address to their data-bases - they know it has a human being on the other end. These spams are annoying enough coming through a user group. How'd would you like this crap coming directly to you, in bucket-fulls! I'm sure these spammers buy, sell and trade our addresses. "atari-midi-archives@yahoogroups.com" is on the Spammers lists. As soon as the moderator (Tim?) blocks one spam address, the spammer creates a new Yahoo or Hotmail account and sends more crap to "atari-midi-archives@yahoogroups.com". Perhaps the moderator (Tim?) can create a block list that stops anything mentioning interest rates or sexual performance. The only other solution I can see is to change the group's address to something like atari-midi-archival@yahoogroups.com and let us all know. Then, wait a few months til the spammers find us again.
