i recently have constructed a program for the yamaha pss series
keyboard ,
with in the code was a routine to install a larger buffewr for the
midi buffer,,,

when i transfered code to pascal i removed this routine and program
still works great....

now my question is ?

what are the beniefits from having a larger buffer ?

it made no noticable difference and the program works just the same
with or without the buffer.... are there any pros or cons to this
issue?

really what does this change buffer size enable me to do?

do any of you use this technique????
