Re: cubase lite: finding MROS

Welcome to the grp

I have forwarded this to the Atari-MIDI main forum, as the Atari-MIDI
archives is just that: an archive of files, an extension of our file section
at Atari-MIDI.

I get this question a lot ever since I have put Cubase Lite up on my site.
Basically people are having a hard time installing it as Cubase-lite cannot
find Mros.

The fix was to unzip it without folders right onto the disc or HD. But looks
like this new member is still having problems

can anybody suggest anything?

here are my installation instructions from my page:I have had no problems
using this method.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
For floppy only systems:
Unzip the cu-lite.zip onto your PC/Mac hardrive. Open the Cu-lite
folder.Copy the contents right to a 720K disc in the disc drive (no main
folder)Put the disc in your Atari and open A-drive. You should now see
this:<P>

cb_lite.dat (folder)
mros(folder)
printers(folder)
songs(folder)
cb_lite.prg
def.all

The cb-lite.prg should be by itself and not in a folder, but on the main
directory of the disc (called the root directory)This way mros will be in
the correct pathway and will load properly.

Yes, I confirm it's correct :-)

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
