Atari-Midi Archives

I'm trying to get KCS Omega to work through STeem with my 
Soundblaster Live Value, but I'm not hearing anything when I play 
back a file. I'm very new to computer recording, but I'm sure my 
system is working ok because I can get Cubase to play midi notes 
through my audio card using the Microsoft Wavetable Synth.

In STeem, the midi ports section is set to connect to "midi device", 
the output device is "Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth", and the input 
device is "SB Live MIDI UART". Does anybody know what I'm doing 
wrong, or can anybody recommend other midi software that I should use 
with STeem to test it, just in case I don't have KCS Omega set up 
correctly?
