There are a large number of wiseacre's on this list! :)  Regardless, 
what you ask for is freely available via Google.  "Parallel port AVR 
programmer schematic" should find you a bunch.  Just a few resistors and 
some wire.  It isn't a great programmer, but it works most of the time. 
  As others have said, US$34 buys a very nice and reliable one that 
every programmer software out there can use.
