No, this is code that I'd been working on for quite a while.  Studio
works well when it wants to, and when it dosen't, then very odd things
happen.

I've had this sort of trouble for years, surviving many computers, OS
installs, versions of OS, Studio, etc etc etc.
Others have problems like this too, but we aren't the majority of
studio users, and apparently Atmel finds us relatively easy to ignore.
