I've never had any issues with inculde files. beyond getting it to work first time, which was just understanding how to do it properly. .include "c:\dir\file.inc" is ALL you should need in the asm. If this isn't working (replace "dir" with the proper directory and "file.inc" as appropriate) then it sounds like vista is once again sucking bigtime. UAC breaks a lot of things, MS is actually trying to do a good thing, but unfortunately where *nix started out this way from the beginning, MS is trying to lock the doors after the cows are gone and the stable is on fire.
