I found a reasonable option for me for such a calculator:

It's a java calculator for use on iPhone, Palm, and a few other 
models. It mimics the HP calculator look, and has hex, binary, and 
octal functions. It also has, as a throwback to HP calculators of 
yore, RPN and allows you to set your word length in preferences (a 
maximum of 32 bits!!!).

I'm trying it out for 15 days for free. After that it's $10 for a 
year's subscription (don't know if that means it quits after a year, 
or that you just don't get any free updates...)
