As you are likely to misprogram some fuses, that STK500 will help you in getting things working again. A Dragon (or better a JTAG Mk2, more expensive) would be very handy for debugging your code. The AVRISP is not really needed as the STK can do your ISP and HVPP programming (when disaster strikes).
