AVR-Chat

Hello,

 

I am new to this group and to the AVR processor, but not new to imbedded
systems design.

 

I am working on a project that requires an imbedded microprocessor, and
after much research, it seems like the AVR32 will fill the bill quite
nicely, and the EVK1100 board will do almost everything I need for this
project.  However, I will a keypad (perhaps 16 keys) and a larger display
(at least 8 lines of 40 characters).  It would actually be nice to use a
touch screen display.

 

Does anyone know of someone who has interfaced a larger display and keypad
to this board, and if so, how I could get the information to do this along
with software drivers?  I don't want to reinvent the wheel, but concentrate
strictly on my project.  I have tried Google and other resources, and have
found lots of things for the AVR, but not the AVR32.  The AVR is somewhat
underpowered for my project.
