Agree that for the most part it *shouldn't* matter that the ultimate goal is an aviation product. But we know nothing about the product/project, and even less about the requirements for electrical and environmental conditions. Or the requirements for coding standards and testability. I suspect if the goal is to be space flight capable the AVR may be one of the harder routes to take.
