Thanks!  Musta missed that.  I will take a deeper look.  The yampp
was very inspiring and I will likely order the kit assuming my (so
far) futile search for an acceptable commercial player comes up dry.

My camera takes CF (SD too but CF will work and it's cheaper).  I 
figure that as I upgrade to larger/faster CF cards for my camera I can 
use the "hand-me-downs" to upgrade my mp3 player.
