Thank you very much to all of you, it's finally working.
I took your suggestion and I removed the diode/resistator I had and instead put one of each on 87a of both mirrors.

Previously the circuit was to have half brightness with running lamps. 
To do that you should have 2 separate current resistors, one for each 
LED into 87a contact. What I see happening is the current to the right 
side is spiking up when the left side circuit breaks. The resistor 
delivers the same amount of current but now it goes to just one side, 
and it gets brighter.
