I have trouble drawing a straight line with a ruler so drawing the intricate curves of a wheel scares me. I'll see what I can do as far as scanning and pasting. As I was poking around the web, I saw buttons and wheels for another PCB program that defined them as parts. It looks like a good way to go and I might take the time to do that. Thanks for all the advice. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tim Mitchell" <tim@sabretechnology.co.uk> To: AVR-Chat@yahoogroups.com Sent: Tuesday, June 19, 2012 1:03:42 AM Subject: RE: [AVR-Chat] artwork for touch wheel For a touch wheel I would normally just draw it out on the copper layer. It's probably not worth designing it as a part, unless you are going to use the exact same wheel over and over. Even if you could find someone else's design, it's very dependent on the thickness of the overlay panel and might not work well for your design. This doc from Atmel tells you how to design it: Buttons sliders and wheels sensor design guide http://www.atmel.com/Images/doc10752.pdf -- Tim Mitchell ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
