I am not planning anything new! I was simply observing that, with the company changes on the horizon, that maybe this list might have a more prominent role in the future.

Is Atmel planning on something new with the AVR line? 

I'd like to see them get WIFI built in. 

I've been playing with NODEMCU (ESP 8266). They are good little machines, but very immature. I'd rather have a more fielded controller like the AVRs giving me WIFI.
