Good question.  I've heard of the Ponyprog but I'm not familiar with it.  
I thought it just programmed PIC's.

I use a MicroEngineering EPIC Plus programmer for PIC's and have had no 
trouble with it at all.  They update their software every time a new 
device comes out.  I have had no trouble with my STK500 for AVR's so far, 
either.

Maybe it's a software problem?  It would have to be either that or 
something wrong with the programmer hardware.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
