Yes, Google is the way to get general information. You may get better 
hits searching for "Sigma Delta" ADC because that is the more common 
ordering of the terms.

However, this is an AVR group, so I'm obliged to point out that the 
analog-to-digital converters in AVR microcontrollers are successive 
approximation converters, not sigma-delta.  The ZiLOG Z8 Encore! has 
a sigma-delta, though its performance is not as good as the AVRs.
