Burr-Brown/TExas Inst. has the highest resolution parts. Between Analog Devices and TI you can find a selection of 20 to 24 bit parts with conversion rates up to around 4000 per second. You can not get this kind of resolution with SAR parts. Be careful that you look at the correct type of Delta sigma. There are those for Audio which are not DC accurate and those that are for instrument use that are DC accurate.
