I am quite new in this field, i have been practicing electronics system design for about 2 years. From my experience in microcontrollers, both hardware and software had caused problems. Assuming that the electronic design is correct, it turns out that bad hardware assembly causes problems the most (e.g. bad PCB, bad soldering joints, etc). Second, bad components. Third, bad firmware code. I just want to know, if you assemble the electronic hardware yourself, and you use cheap components like here in Indonesia, so that the quality isn't so good, what would you check FIRST in case of an unexpected error of your microcontroller system?? Your hardware or your software?
