Somehow, I've missed this feature in the datasheets.   How many AVR 
devices incorporate Schmitt triggers on the inputs?  Is this all pins 
or just some of them?

It would have saved me 3 hours with a wire-wrap gun last night if I'd 
known this before...  :-(
