I can never work out Memec's site. I figure they
want you to give them a call so you feel like you have to order up
bigtime :)
Saying you want 2 units is so much easier to a
computer screen than a human ;)
Also, I've found National Semiconductor to be great
for samples (to Australia at least).

Atmel are ok, they make you contact their reps in the country you are
(in AU I use Prospec who are basically the WA rep for Memec), I place
reasonably large orders (usully multiple tube / tray amounts) so they
help where they can, I do not mind paying for samples, aslong as I can
get 1 or 2 for the 1K price lol
