Got it. You have to take the original asm file and do a "create new" or some such process I stumbled into. For the first time I was actually glad to see assembly errors that were marked. I guess, like doing an uninstall of the old studio before you do the new install you have to recreate the old asm file. Necessity is the mother of invention but frustration causes cigarette use. I've been out of the assembly code area for years and relearning. Have you checked out the ATmega168? A neat device just released.
