Hi all,

I need to write some code for Linux, it will use the comm ports, and 
stream data to the command line (which will be piped into other apps)

I need to develop this under FreeBSD due to that is all I use, and have 
no spare machines.

I will be passing 1 or 2 arguments into the code, sometimes it will just 
send some data out to the comm port, wait for a reply and then exit.

SO basically is there any major differences between comm port usage 
between FreeBSD and Linux ?
