Well, it turned out to be real prototypitis.
There is an option in the ice, to run the timers when breakpointed.
It was on.
I've NEVER used that option, and I am sure that I didn't turn it on...
I've also caught studio with multiple copies of the same file in a project,
even with two copies of "main.asm" and both marked as entry files, so this
doesn't surprise me much.
S4 still refuses to do fuse bits through the ice, or to talk to any of my
AVRISP or STK-500 programmers.
S3.56 talks to all of them, on the same port and serial cable...
