Hi all, So much to do, so little time. Here is my latest project : It is an interface and temp monitor system come home automation. It will have 3 RS 232 ports, 1 for programming my PABX, 1 to log PABX calls and the last to interface to the FreeBSD server. It will also have about 8 A/D ports reading LM35's for tempreture monitoring of the equipment in the roof. It will also monitor an RS232 heart beat from the Server and Reboot it if It detects it is missing for more than 3 pulses (may be increased) It will also have X relays (No. to be decided) to control things like sprinklers for garden ETC. I also need to write the software on the FreeBSD box to interface the data into a webpage for outputing, an input section and heartbeat generator. The Hardware will be 2 Uarts and one bit banged (bitbang will be the Call Logging port as it just recieves data at 1200bps) I will also have a large recieve buffer so that while I am in program mode it just stores data :o) The relays will be serially driven with latches, so that I can just send a few bytes out and it will latch the correct relays on :o) Regards, Kat.
