I do an M128 based controller board as a base for
other peripheral add-on boards. Perhaps you'd like to take a look at the Web
site:
Good luck,

Hello, I am new to the list here. I am considering moving up from a
Basic-x system. It is nice, but more limited than I would like.
I have seen the atmel 128 (or even better for me, the 1281. I need
more than 24 i/o lines and I would like at least 3 external
interrupts so I do not have to arbitrate them over a single
interrupt (some are higher priority).
I _do_ like the simplicity of the BaxicX -24 boards. Just supply
power and it is ready to program. NO other stuff (memory/cyrstals,
etc).
Does anyone know of a source of a complete, ready-to program and
interface board for the mega 120 or 1281? Small size is a plus. A
DIP package is a plus as well. Low cost is really important. US-
based sources would be nice to avoid international shipping and poor
dollar exchange rates.
I have seen some nice ones, but many of the I/O pins are taken up by
other headers (dallas, etc). I think I would rather keep as many
I/O pins free as reasonably possible.
Thanks in advance!
Tony
