Farnell have some of the blue LCDs from Everbouquet, including this 
one:  http://www.everbouquet.com.tw/MC1602J.htm (farnell 5005231) 
with a 9.66mm character.  We've got some 16X1 units at work and 
they're really sexy displays :-)
