Nope.

I had a project using the Stamp (probably the best all around micro)
and at that time, there was no USB that was easy to use, and almost
everything data storage was in the hundreds of $$ or clunky group or
patched hardware and software.   

When the SD/MMC cards came out, that reduced the softaware burden
considderably.

been well over a year since I even looked at the problem.

I almost did the Palm-Pilot thing, but the cheap surplus Handsprings
that hit e-bay dried up pretty quickly.

SD/MMC is and has been my desire.

Maybe it is time for a new look ?

The Stamp offers free starter software and a plethora of extreemly
well written projects.  From blinking an LED all the way up to
controlling an LCD and now USB support.

The PIC missed with it's odd memory mapping and it's multiple chip
families that are not upwardly synchronized.

Atmel hit the mark with the Tiny-11 for fifty cents, but both Atmel
and Microchip should offer a cheap programmer and raw beginner software. 

Not all of us who want or need the power of a micro can take the time
to learn the software, then the hardware, then trouble shoot it.
