I have a AVR icecube from ecros tech which is a JTAG ice programmer. I had to upgrade avr studio to 4.12 and the firmware upgrade is not working so I can not debug with it. My program gathers some GPS data and writes it to eeprom. I want to verify what it is. But since I can not debug with AVR Studio I was looking for a way to read the eeprom. My new PC (laptop) does not have a parallel port so I can not use the parallel port with avrdude. I used to use the -t to look at this. Is it possible to use avrdude with the jtag ice? If so what is the programmer parameter to use? If not can I use avarice in a interactive mode to view the contents of eeprom?
