Hi,
take a
look at page 56 in ATmega88 datasheet. Watchdog timer interrupt vector No 7.
This
is a good way of having a timer wake up at intervals up to
8sec.

Morten

Atmel avr series do not have a special vector for handling watchdog
overflow, so it resets the system. Is it proper to get reset just to
wake-up from sleep? are you out of other timer resources?

Subject: [AVR-Chat] Mega88 pin change interrupt
Hi,
Pin change interrup works the first time I enable it but the next
interrupt is not serviced. If i get a watchdog interrupt (used as timer)
and then a pinchange interrupt then the interrupt is serviced. I use
both interrups to do a wakeup from sleep.

Morten
