  Perhaps so.  That doesn't make your practice reasonable.

  With all due respect to radio amateurs, who, as a group, have 
contributed greatly to the advancment of communications technology, they 
*ARE*, by self-definition, amateurs, after all.

  Not the last time I looked.  Unless you are making a unidirectional 
connection, you need at LEAST 3 wires for a proper RS232-C link.  
Ground, TX and RX.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
