BTW dropping the voltage to the > microcontroller from the battery is not currently an option. Use a better regulator. 5.8V is a bit to much for a 5V rail, if you are talking of the rail voltage on the STK500, then drop the voltage back to 5.0V (advanced tab in STK500 programming section, board voltage :) -- Regards, Kat. --------------------------------------------------------------- K.A.Q.
