Experience with the EasyAVR v2.5 has been that the development board is great to use and more functional than an STK500, albeit a bit klunkier to program. Programming interface is a bit klunky, but that's easy to work around. It's nice to have a development board with all of the port pins available as well as LEDs and switches attached to each port pin, USB programming interface, JTAG interface connector, and a serial port on board.
Support, when originally bought, sucked...as in there was never a response to inquiries. There was no manual provided. The only documentation was a schematic of the board and a parts placement picture. And it uses a PIC for the USB interface so I feel like breaking out the lye soap and chlorox when ever I'm working with it.
I guess my question, to make a long story longer, is - Has MikroElectronika begun to provide some support for their products? Or, would a new purchase be treated the same as previous experience.
Thanks in advance for any feedback.
