Re: [AVR-Chat] New AVR prodcut line?

Others have sent the URL for the EasyAVR3 board. Here's for the other
tools:

       http://www.mikroelektronika.co.yu/english/product/tools/#3

For what ever it's worth...

I have an EasyAVR2 development board and have been quite pleased with
it, except for support from Mikroelectronica. It appears that
documentation for #3 is better and it has even more functionality. Use
is almost intuitive, it only took a couple of hours to figure out what I
needed to do that wasn't in the documentation for the #2.

It certainly is nice to be able to have access to all port pins, with
switches and/or LEDs for digital inputs and a pot to simulate an analog
input. For 150 bucks (US), which includes freight, it's been well worth
the money even if the documentation was marginal at best.

It appears the current iteration adds even more functionality with
on-board A/D and D/A converters but they've taken away the JTAG
connector. Oh well...they've also done some work on the GUI and the
manual so a JTAG interface wouldn't be difficult to kluge together.

I also don't think they provide lye soap and clorox with their dark side
tools.
