I've waded through all the data for this demo board and can't find a
straightforward answer anywhere... But probably I am not quite
understanding it right.

When the PC stores data in the usbkey's dataflash chips using it as a
USB mass storage device, does it create a fat filesystem in the
dataflash? So if my application software on the board wants to access
the data as well, I'd need to read it back through the fat structure?
