This kind of problem is already discussed in this group, but I could never finaly gather what might be a 'standard way' to wake up a dead AVR when osc fues bits are wrong programmed. Let's assume I have an AVR on my desk and do not know how osc fuesbits are programmed. Is the only way trying every possible configuration? This way doesn't seem a wise one to me.
If I were AVR manufaturer, I would set up a seperate emergency osc. inside mcu to at least have access to fues bits to avoid such dead situations to happen.
