AVR-Chat

Hello, AVR folks -

Don't know if there are any Mac users on the list but
AVRFreaks still seems to be down so I thought I'd ask
here....

There is a new Mac app now in beta that lets Windows apps
operate under a version of wine for the Mac linux
distribution on an intel-based platform. It is called
CrossOver and info is here:

Note: I have NO relationship with these folks!

I am looking for anyone who has tried to run Studio or
WinAVR under CrossOver on a Mac. Yes, I know that you are
"supposed" to be able to install avr-gcc on a Mac but I
have never been able to get anywhere close to working.
Reports, comments, etc, would be appreciated. I just want
to run Studio or WinAVR on a Mac.
