AT89C2051 reset pin pulled down?

Hello guys,

I need help, As far as i know, reset pin sould be pulled up... pulling 
it down will reset the device... I am puzzled on AT89C2051...datasheet 
says that holding the reset high will reset the device... DOes this 
mean i have to pull down the reset pin? datasheet also specified the 
reset pulldown resistor value to be from 50 to 300 KOhm... Im confused.
