where can you find Nordic NRF905 for sale in the US?  I searched jameco to
no avail.

I have used some of the lynx modules http://www.linxtechnologies.com/ and 
they seem to be decent and fairly easy to interface but are very sensitive 
to antenna type and interference.

Hi there, I use the Nordic NRF905 433MHz chips just about every day of
my life, about $7 for the chip with all it's surrounding components
and very easy to work with. I can recommend it for any wireless project.
