Good point, I didn't consider that leakage.

Its never just a simple answer is it?

I'm still curious enough to experiment with this idea compared to my
typical OpAmp solution.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
